Contents: 2 species, none of which are endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously regarded as a synonym of Pachydactylus (e.g., Kluge 1991). Revalidated as a separate genus by Bauer & Lamb (2005), although validity suggested already by Lamb & Bauer (2002). Species of the genera Chondrodactylus and Pachydactylus are also referred to as Thick-toed Geckos.
Distribution: Congo-Kinshasa, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
