Furina tristis

Remarks: Mainophis robusta Macleay 1877 has been treated as a synonym of Brachyorrhos albus by some authors (e.g., Goldman, Hill & Stanbury 1969; Iskandar & Colijn 2001), however, it belongs in the synonymy of Furina tristis. Presence in the Aru Islands (Indonesia) needs confirmation (Tallowin, O'Shea, Hoskin, Vanderduys, Amey & Couper 2018).
Distribution: Australia (Queensland [incl. Torres Strait Islands]), Indonesia (Aru Islands, Western New Guinea), Papua New Guinea (Eastern New Guinea).
