Remarks: Previously regarded either as a valid genus (e.g., Cogger 1996, 2014; Melville, Ritchie, Chapple, Glor & Schulte 2011) or as a synonym of Amphibolurus (e.g., Wells & Wellington 1984; Greer 1989; Swan, Shea & Sadlier 2004; Wilson 2005; Swanson 2007; Wilson & Swan 2010). Validity confirmed by Melville, Ritchie, Chapple, Glor & Schulte (2018).
Distribution: Australia (Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia).
