Remarks: Status of hidalgoensis has been disputed. Previously regarded as a subspecies of occipitomaculata, then revalidated as a separate species by Flores-Villela (1993). More recently, it was synonymized with occipitomaculata again (Pyron, Hsieh, Lemmon, Lemmon & Hendry 2016), but this was refuted by Nevárez-de los Reyes, Lazcano, García-Padilla, Mata-Silva, Johnson & Wilson (2016).
Distribution: Mexico (Coahuila, Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Tamaulipas).
