Contents: 1 species, which is endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Included in Protobothrops by some authors (e.g., Gou, Malhotra, Li, Pook & Creer 2007; Guo, Liu, Wen, Xiao, Fang, Zhong, Truong, Zhu, Jadin & Li 2016; Snetkov & Orlov 2017), but retained as a valid genus by David & Vogel in Visser (2015), based on morphological differences.
Distribution: As for the single species.
