Remarks: Reported from Myanmar by some authors (e.g., Dowling & Jenner 1988; Zug, Leviton, Vindum, Wogan & Koo 2010; Wallach, Williams & Boundy 2014; Chan-ard, Parr & Nabhitabhata 2015), but no recent surveys have confirmed the presence of the species in the country (Grismer, Diesmos, Gonzalez, Jose & Inger 2012). However, it may occur in the southern part of the country, having been found in Thailand, not far from the border to Myanmar. Leviton, Siler, Weinell & Brown (2018) did not include Polillo in the distribution of the species.
Distribution: Brunei, Indonesia (Bangka, Java, Kalimantan, Natuna Islands, Nias, Sumatra), Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak, West Malaysia), Myanmar, Philippines (Balabac, Bohol, Dinagat, Luzon, Mindanao, Palawan, Polillo, Samar, Sulu Islands [Basilan]), Thailand.
