Contents: 3 species, of which 1 (33.3%) is endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously included Alopecion guttatum, Lycodonomorphus inornatus and the species now assigned to Boaedon and Inyoka. Kelly, Branch, Broadley, Barker & Villet (2011) provisionally retained four more species (abyssinicus, erlangeri, geometricus, guttatus) in Lamprophis. These species are assigned herein to Boaedon, following Wallach, Williams & Boundy (2014).
Distribution: SubSaharan Africa.
Reported from: Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, South Africa (Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West Province, Northern Cape, Western Cape).
